Studio Terms and Conditions

General

  • By ordering a service, the Client agrees to these Terms.

  • Revisions are meant to refine the existing work, not to request a new concept.

  • The Studio is not liable for copyright issues arising from Client‑provided content

  • Extra revisions or major changes may require an additional fee.

  • All communication and revision requests must be made through SoundBetter.

  • The Client is responsible for providing all necessary files (stems, vocals, references) in usable quality.

  • Low‑quality or incomplete files may affect delivery time and final results.

  • Revisions must be requested within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.

  • Unused revisions do not accumulate or extend the project.

  • Any request that significantly changes the original idea (new arrangement, new sound direction, new vocal take, etc.) is considered extra work and may require an additional fee

  • Final files are delivered only after the Client approves the final version

  • Project files, stems, or alternate versions are not included unless specified in the service

  • Long‑term storage is not guaranteed unless agreed

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any samples, vocals, or external materials they provide

  • The Studio is not liable for commercial performance, platform issues, or third‑party claims related to the Client’s release

  • The Studio is not responsible for the Client’s playback environment

  • Delivery times start only after all required files and instructions are received

Ghost Production

  • Includes 3 revisions.

  • Revisions cover adjustments within the original idea.

  • Final approved version grants the Client full rights to release the track under their name.

Beatmaking, Mix & Mastering, Vocal Editing

  • Each service includes 1 revision.

  • Revisions cover minor adjustments only (balance, tuning, timing, sound tweaks).

  • Additional revisions or re‑recorded material may require extra fees.

Refunds

  • All sales are final once work has started.

  • Delays caused by missing files or late feedback are not the Studio’s responsibility.

  • Perceived differences due to listening systems are not grounds for refunds or unlimited revisions

LABEL

1. Duration

The Artist agrees to remain under the Label for a minimum period of 12 months from the start date of the agreement.

2. Publishing & Distribution Costs

The Label covers all distribution and publishing costs, up to an estimated $99 per year.

3. Recoupment

Publishing costs are recouped through the Artist’s royalties.

  • If, after 12 months, royalties do not reach the $99 threshold, the Artist agrees to pay the remaining difference.

  • If the Artist chooses to leave the agreement early, the Artist must still pay the full $99.

4. Royalty Split

Royalties generated from the Artist’s releases are split as follows:

  • 75% to the Artist

  • 25% to the Label

Royalties are managed by the Label and paid to the Artist monthly via PayPal, on the 1st of each month.

The Artist is responsible for providing a valid PayPal account for payments

The Label’s 25% share covers royalty administration, distribution management, and operational costs

5. Right to Decline Collaboration

The Label reserves the right to refuse or discontinue collaboration with any Artist at its sole discretion.

If publishing costs have already been incurred, the Artist remains responsible for covering the $99.

6. Artist Responsibilities

The Artist agrees to:

  • Provide all required materials (audio, artwork, metadata) in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all submitted content is original and legally owned.

  • Maintain professional communication throughout the agreement

No generative AI of any kind shall be used in the creation of the work

Unprofessional or abusive communication may result in termination of the Agreement.

7. Rights

The Label manages distribution and publishing for all releases during the agreement period.

Master ownership and royalty splits follow the specific release agreement between Label and Artist.

8. Early Termination

If the Artist terminates the agreement before the 12‑month period, the Artist must immediately pay the $99 publishing fee.
